IMPORTANT: You must be using Google Chrome and have an Instagram Account.

If you don't have an Instagram account, go ahead and make a new account. If you are not currently using Google Chrome, you can open a new Google Chrome window and go to the current URL.

1. Install the Network Requests Download Chrome extension version 2.0 (if you have not already done so)

1. Make sure you are using Google Chrome browser.

2. Open a new Chrome tab. In the search bar, copy and paste this: chrome://extensions/

This will take you to the Chrome Extensions manager.

3. Turn on Developer Mode

4. IMPORTANT! Refresh the page

5. Download the folder containing the Network Requests Download extension here:

6. After it's downloaded, unzip the folder.

7. Move the folder to a place where it will not be deleted and where it will be easy to find such as your Desktop.

8. In Chrome, install the extension by clicking "Load Unpacked".

9. Select the unzipped folder.

10. If the installation is successful, you will see it as one of your extensions.


You can un-install the extension after you finish this task. Alternatively, you may keep it installed to continue to do the same task once a day.

2. In a new Google Chrome tab, Login to https://www.instagram.com/.

Make sure you are logged in.

3. In a new Chrome tab, right click anywhere and go to Inspect.

4. In the panel that appears, click the "Network Requests Download" tab.

Note: Some configurations of Chrome will have a horizontal panel like the one shown below. This should still work:

5. In BOX 1, copy and paste the URLs in the blue box below:

These are the web pages we are going to be testing in this task.

6. In BOX 2, copy and paste the following exactly as shown in the box below:

7. The inputs should look like the below image:

8. Click Start. The extension will visit each web page specified.

9. Please wait for it to visit all web pages. To check progress, see the messages generated below the start button:

As it works, you may use other tabs to do something else. Return to the original tab when it's done. (It should take about 3 seconds per URL).

10. After the job is complete, a report code is generated in the yellow box.
